Bacterial monitoring results for Saldanha Bay and Langebaan Lagoon of samples taken on 15 April 2021.
Some activity picked up around the northern shores of Saldanha Bay from Pepper bay to Bok River outflow, but still within acceptable levels. The bacterial activity was very low in the southern section of the catchment from Mykonos to Kraal Bay.
Results, in general, indicates that the water was fit for full-contact recreational use in the catchment.
