Samples taken on 2023-12-20 – Overall the test results indicated that water is fit for recreational use in the bay from Saldanha to Langebaan to Kraal Bay. Good news for our tourists.

Bacterial monitoring results for Saldanha Bay and Langebaan Lagoon were taken on 16 August 2023. Results indicate that generally, the water was fit for full-contact recreational use in the catchment.  

Results indicates that generally the water was fit for full-contact recreational use in catchment, except for Hoedjies Bay and the Bok River outlet.
