Analyses indicate some bacterial activity, especially in the northern section of the catchment at Pepper Bay, Hoedjies Bay and Bok River monitoring points, but not at critical levels.
These monitoring results indicate that the water is fit for use.
Voëlvlei Dam has reached the 70% level earlier this week, we are thank full. The current salinity levels in the Berg River is high, farmers and industry to take care in this regard.
