Subject: Vandalism Incident at Saldanha WWTW
Afternoon Christo
This email serves to inform you and other affected parties that we have had a vandalism incident at the Waste Water plant during the early hours of this morning. Cables at the MCC building and the emergency generator was damaged and stolen. Currently, none of the equipment is operational. Our electricians are on site busy with the repairs. All indications are that the plant should be up and running by early evening.
Christo, could you please inform the aquaculture farmers accordingly as a precautionary measure. Currently, Mittal is still taking the bulk of the effluent.
